Job Description

You will provide graphic design and use design principles to communicate concepts or ideas to visually support Marketing & Digital Engagement initiatives, including C-suite communications, social media, executive presentations, corporate sponsorships, philanthropic initiatives and employee engagement events. This person will deliver impactful PowerPoint design solutions and presentations for the Executive’s main stage keynote events, external press and PR events, as well as customer events and internal company meetings. The Graphic Design Intern must be skilled at creating engaging and compelling stories, messages and visuals for digital consumption which embrace and adhere to an organization's brand standards and communication style guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create original graphic content for websites, social media, email blasts, slides, posters, brochures, advertisements and ad hoc projects for a wide variety of audiences
• Design tables, icons, diagrams, charts, infographics, recolor images and other graphics for various documents and PowerPoint presentations
• Communicate information and data effectively with a combination of animation, builds, as well as the creation of easy to understand charts, graphs and diagrams
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to find graphic solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with others to manage workloads and workflow for large-scale productions
• Ability to understand, design within and apply brand guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• HIGH LEVEL OF DEMONSTRATED EXPERTISE USING THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS: ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, AND POWERPOINT
• PORTFOLIO OF WORK REQUIRED
• Working knowledge of web and multimedia technologies
• Familiarity with releases, rights and clearances for intellectual property such as images
• Project management skills to meet deadlines, follow-through on assignments, take direction, attend to and communicate about the details of any assignment, and juggle multiple competing priorities

Education and Experience:

• Current Student in their 3rd of 4th year of studies in Communication, Visual Arts, Graphic Design
• 1 – 3 years relevant work experience in a Corporate setting
