Job Summary: We are seeking a caring, dependable Classroom Teacher to support the daily learning and development of young children in a safe, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, follows classroom routines, and works well as part of a team. This position focuses on hands-on care, supervision, and age-appropriate activities under the guidance of center leadership.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times

Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals, naps, diapering, and toileting

Implement age-appropriate activities that support learning, social skills, and emotional development

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment

Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and staff

Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines

Observe and report children’s behaviors, needs, and milestones to the lead teacher or director

Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience working with children preferred (child care, babysitting, camps, schools, etc.)

Ability to follow routines and classroom schedules

Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in active play

Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
