Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting/Insurance Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will analyze data to understand business and market trends in order to increase company revenue and efficiency. Will work in the Insurance Department of a National Commercial Real Estate Company. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all current and future loans are compliant with all stated regulations. This individual will also be responsible for obtaining and reviewing insurance certificates and policies for compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMMUNICATE REQUESTS FOR INSURANCE RENEWAL INFORMATION WITH AGENTS, BORROWERS, AND MANAGEMENT AGENTS WITHIN SPECIFIED TIMEFRAMES, FOR AN ASSIGNED GROUP OF LOANS.
ANALYZE INSURANCE RENEWAL OF INFORMATION TO ENSURE THAT INVESTOR INSURANCE REQUIREMENT COMPLIANCE IS MET, INCLUDING COMPLETE POLICY RENEWAL AND COLLECTION.
ASSURE CONTINUAL MONITORING OF INSURANCE COMPLIANCE FOR LIFE OF LOAN WHICH INCLUDES INSURANCE REVIEWS FOR PROPERTIES CHANGING INSURANCE MID-TERM AND/OR AS PART OF AN OWNERSHIP OR MANAGEMENT TRANSFER.
REQUEST AND PROCESS INSURANCE PREMIUM INVOICES IN SERVICING SYSTEM.
COMMUNICATE ESCROW ISSUES AND COORDINATE RESOLUTION OF ISSUES WITH SERVICING STAFF.
QUALIFICATIONS:
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE ON A BUSINESS RELATED FIELD(I.E. FINANCE, ACCOUNTING, REAL ESTATE, BUSINESS)
EXPERIENCE IN INSURANCE OR COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE BANKING AND/OR SERVICING A PLUS
