Job Description
We are seeking an Insurance Coordinator to become a part of our organization! You will investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of the organization's liability in various claims and act as a liaison between the agent and carrier to ensure applications move along in a timely fashion from the point of sale to the point of placement by following up and managing new business submitted.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
MUST HAVE 1 PLUS YEARS IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY IN A CLERICAL OR SUPPORT ROLE.
EXPERIENCE WITH PERSONAL LINES, LONG TERM DISABILITY, LIFE AND ANNUITIES, HEALTH EXP A MUST.
. ACT AS A NEW BUSINESS LIAISON BETWEEN AGENTS AND 25+ INSURANCE CARRIERS.
UNDERSTAND LIFE, LONG TERM CARE AND DISABILITY INSURANCE.
ABILITY TO WORK REMOTELY, IF NEEDED, WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION.
RUN GENERAL TERM QUOTES AND REVIEW POLICIES AT TIME OF ISSUE. PROCESS POLICY INCREASES AND CONVERSIONS
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF LIFE INSURANCE TERMINOLOGY/PROCESSES.
2 + YRS BROKERAGE AGENCY/INSURANCE EXPERIENCE
SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE: ADOBE, WORD, OUTLOOK AND EXCEL.
AGENCY CRM SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE: SMART OFFICE/PAPERCLIP PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
