Job Description

Under general supervision, the General Maintenance Worker safely performs a variety of tasks assisting in all aspects of maintenance operations, including, but not limited to:

• Perform tasks for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the facility including minor repairs, landscaping, carpentry, and some plumbing and minor electrical work
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document completion using computer software, paperwork, tags, and other methods
• Assist in maintaining and documenting spare parts and maintenance tools inventory
• Assist technicians with general facility tasks, as required
• Actively participate in safety and operational meetings
• Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as requested by management

Qualifications

Required Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work some Saturdays
• Experience performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Ability to wear an air purifying respirator
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
