About the Role:

We need a skilled Cleaner to keep our surgical center looking amazing. You will be in charge of keeping things neat and tidy. This is an essential role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our patients and our team.

Job Type: Part Time (10-15 hours per week)

Schedule: 2 hours per day in the late afternoon or evening (4:30pm or later), Monday through Friday.

Pay: $21 per hour

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, reception, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other areas

Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.

Work carefully around medical equipment

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed

Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.

Follow appropriate safety protocols

Report any maintenance or repair needs or any safety issues that you find

Work collaboratively with team members to uphold high cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience with cleaning, janitorial, or custodial work required (previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus)

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and supplies

Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed

Good communication and a positive attitude
