ServiceMaster is one of the top Disaster Restoration, Residential and Commercial Cleaning companies in the Upstate. We currently have an opening for a Cleaning Technician. This position would consist of full time work, Monday - Friday. There is also mandatory participation in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed.

We are looking for people with industry experience! Potential employees should be hard working, experienced, dependable, thorough, honest, trustworthy and generally likeable.

As a cleaning technician, you will be responsible for driving to the job site, discussing the situation/progress with the customer, cleaning all affected materials (structure and contents), and ensuring work is completed to high standards. Jobs typically consist of smoke/soot cleaning but may also require cleaning for mold/dust etc.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of cleaning products and practices, good communication skills, and a friendly and efficient demeanor while providing high-quality service.

Requirements:

Cleaning background required

Professional appearance

Accountable and dependable

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.

Clean background check

Must have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record

Understand, execute, and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner

Job Duties:

Assess the state of the floors, walls, ceilings, contents etc. that need to be cleaned

Differentiate between several cleaning products and their uses

Efficiently and thoroughly clean affected areas/contents, returning them as close as possible to pre-loss condition

Comply with sanitation procedures and general housekeeping as well as all safety practices

Carefully move or box contents to access all areas that need to be cleaned

Communicate effectively with the customer, supervisors and other technicians

Occasionally use deodorization equipment (Ozone or Hydroxyl) to remove unwanted odors

Maintain a clean and orderly work vehicle, stocked with the appropriate inventory of cleaning products, tools, etc.

Participation in on-call rotation and other after hours and weekend work as needed
