    JOB PURPOSE

    Define, develop, beta test, analyze, and maintain information technology systems that support the achievement of business requirements. This includes wireframing, coding, publishing, patching, and documenting functionality of web-based software programs. Utilizing in-house and third-party resources to provide support, training and maintenance of any IT system that may malfunction due to shifting requirements or adjacent application changes. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting employee hardware, windows and mac operating, systems installed software, and networking issues, ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Through effective collaboration and analysis, assist in the conceptualization, development and implementation of new applications that intuitively provide solutions for complex business requirements. This will include preparing a detailed scope of work and deployment plan.

    • Write / translate extendable code for new and existing applications in accordance with defined specifications.

    • Monitor and analyze performance of new and existing systems for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging to ensure applications run smoothly and securely.

    • Build and maintain (technical) flow charts, development documentation to provide insight to other developers on how the application is designed and its intended function from a more technical perspective.

    • Build and maintain (job aid) flow charts, user manuals and guidelines for any processes which end users need to follow in order to successfully work within the computing system.

    • Monitoring the IT request ticketing system to provide technical support and training as requested by end users.

    • App / System user account management in accordance with HR directives for new and or exited employees. Provision and maintain user access to app functionality and protected assets.

    • Provide general help desk support for essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, web applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, phones, software, and other hardware.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a systems development role and IT support desk experience.

    • Must be proficient with Windows and Mac operating systems, MS Office 365 applications.

    • Must have experience developing applications coded in PHP, JavaScript, mySQL, JSON.

    • Must have experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing relational database architecture.

    • Must have experience integrating with RESTfull API, and developing webhook targets.

    • Additional preferred programming language experience with jQuery, SWIFT, C#, CSS, HTML5, SQL.

    • Must be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.

    • Must be able to adhere to standard  in-office work hours to provide direct support to those in the office as well as fielding requests made by remote staff.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.
