    Clear Interiors is in search of an Assistant Designer to join our team! This opportunity is located in the heart of Santa Barbara, within a vibrant and collaborative office. Profound technical proficiency coupled with a natural inclination towards teamwork and cooperation are the cornerstones of success in this role.

    You will contribute to the design process, from concept development to project completion, while gaining valuable experience in the field of interior design. Minimum experience of 2- years working in interior design.

    Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually DOE

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Collaborate with the Senior Designer to develop concepts that align with client preferences and project goals.

    Generate 2D and 3D visualizations, including floor plans, elevations, renderings and mood boards to effectively communicate design intent to clients and team members.

    Support project management tasks such as site visits, progress tracking and coordination to ensure projects are executed smoothly and on schedule.

    Assist in creating and managing project documentation, including specifications, material boards and procurement lists.

    Collaborate with external vendors, contractors and suppliers to source furniture, fixtures and materials that align with client expectations and budget.

    Qualification Requirements

    Minimum experience of 2- years working in interior design.

    Strong technical skills in AutoCAD or Vectorworks, Microsoft Suite and SketchUp.

    Experience with StudioDesigner preferred.

    Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members and clients.

    Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to translate concepts into innovative design solutions.

    A collaborative and adaptable mindset, capable of working effectively in a team-based environment.

    A portfolio showcasing design projects, including sketches, renderings and completed work where available.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Highschool diploma or GED

    Preferred education: Bachelors degree in interior design or related field.
