ClearPath Lending is seeking a Mortgage Funder to join our fast paced high volume team!

Position: Mortgage Funder

Position Type: Full Time

LOCATION: IRVINE, CA

Responsibilities:

• Review and fund Mortgage Loan file in a timely fashion.
• Request and review funding requirements and from lenders and/or investors.
• Maintain data integrity of system data fields.
• Gather all necessary documents for closing from other parties: hazard insurance information, subordination agreements, payoffs, taxes, etc. in a timely fashion.
• Determine that all underwriting and closing conditions are satisfied prior to disbursement.
• Complete pre-closing checklist to ensure compliance with all regulatory and investor guidelines.
• Proactively communicate with sales and escrow partners in anticipation of funding within 24 hours.
• Interact with Post Closing Department to investigate and satisfy missing document requests.
• Deliver funded loan packages to Post Closing Department same day the loan funds.

Job Requirements:

• Two years current experience as a Mortgage Funder.
• Knowledge of TRID, FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC guidelines along with title commitments, hazard, and flood insurance policies. Encompass and/or Calyx Point is a huge plus.
• Proven success working in fast-paced, high volume environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Precise attention to detail.

• High level of integrity and trust.
• Team-player with selfless attitude.
• FHA, VA, and Conventional Guidelines.
• Review closing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve funding conditions as needed.
• Send wires thru multiple Warehouse Banks.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted funding practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education:

• Graduation from high school or equivalent (GED)
