The Texas Laser Institute plays a paramount role in shaping the non-invasive cosmetics industry – with a robust alumni base that leads the industry in providing safe and effective aesthetic treatments. As a member of our team, you’ll build upon the rich history and reputation of our college, in furthering the standard of care within our industry by ensuring that today’s practitioners have the right access to our leading training materials and courses of instruction.
As such, TLI is seeking a professional, well organized, and engaging admissions counselor to assist our students with the selection of the right courses and resources as offered through our curriculum – enabling our students to fully leverage the expertise of TLI to further achieve their professional goals and ambitions.
Core responsibilities:
o Explaining the regulatory and licensing requirements for laser hair removal, cosmetology and the non-invasive practice of medicine
o Assisting students in the selection of the most appropriate classes, tailored to meet individual career interests and unique professional goals
o Thoroughly discussing the benefits of the Texas Laser Institute, the convenient structuring of our classes and ease of access to our course materials
o Assisting students with course scheduling – particularly with the hands-on practicum component to each of our courses
o Facilitating travel arrangements by coordinating recommended accommodations, transportation guidance and leisure activities
o Finalizing class enrollment, processing payment and invoicing with either the student or the student’s sponsoring partner
Excellent organizational skills are essential, as you will be responsible to maintaining correct and complete entries in to our student database
Performing presentations to prospective students, both within a group setting, as well as through individual campus tours.
Ensuring the completion of the admissions process by assisting students in the proper completion of enrollment forms as well as collecting the necessary enrollment documentation
Fielding student inquiries for administrative needs – such as reprints of certificates, guidance with licensing requirements and the proper completion of state registration forms.
Serving as a continued resource for student development, whether it be to introduce our continuing education platform, answering general questions, or directing students to the right person or resource to solve their needs
Providing ancillary career placement advice and service to our alumni base

This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, with opportunities in both our Irving and Houston locations.
