    About the role

    We are looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to represent cleo. The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual committed all things Social. The successful candidate will own the strategic development and, most importantly, transformation of cleo social media. This position is based in Ontario, ideally in Mississauga, with remote potential candidates considered on expertise.

    Your main responsibilities:

    · To manage the cleo social brand presence aligned to the marketing goals.

    · To be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

    · To generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily across multiple channels.

    · To create successful social media campaigns that generate sales/engagement. Ultimately- to drive high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

    · To be a natural storyteller, to be able to mix words and images to make compelling content.

    · To set specific objectives and report on ROI, monitor SEO and track and forecast web traffic metrics.

    · Be proficient in social listening and monitoring tools to interpret conversations and convert to information that can fuel smart, data-driven decision-making across the organization

    · To collaborate with other teams: marketing, buying, sales and customer service.

    · To proactively implement new social features or channels.

    · Be knowledgeable of SEO best practices.

    · Be flexible: the world of social media is 24/7 while we don’t expect employees to be always on, this role is not 9-5. This role demands listening and responding with our community in a reasonable and timely manner. Travel, evening and weekend event coverage or crisis monitoring may be necessary periodically.

    · Be in the know: extensive influencer & social media knowledge – in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and how each can be deployed in different scenarios

    · Be adaptable: perform other duties as required.

    What do you need to succeed?

    · Be a leader and self-starter with a get it done attitude.

    · Show proven execution and implementation skills.

    · Be creative, resilient and open to collaboration.

    · Be highly organized- have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously

    · Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to link projects, initiatives or promotions together

    · Strong interpersonal skills: must be able to consult, influence and negotiate with people from diverse levels throughout the organization

    Qualifications:

    · Excellent copywriting skills; strong written and verbal communication. English only.

    · Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related field.

    · Strong visual sensibility. The ability to design/execute digital content (graphic design, photography, video) an asset, but not required.

    · 2+ years of demonstrated, hands-on experience in social media
