Taylor & Thornburg Physical Therapy is a busy outpatient practice dedicated to helping patients achieve their best health. We are seeking a Client Care Specialist to join our administrative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting patients, staying organized, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Position Summary
The Client Care Specialist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in supporting both the administrative and clinical teams. Responsibilities include patient scheduling, insurance verification, and general office coordination.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using our electronic system.
Communicate effectively with patients by phone, email, and in person, providing excellent service at every step.
Verify insurance benefits and accurately maintain patient records, including uploading documents and recording information.
Process cancellations and notify therapists promptly; assist with reminder calls and follow-up communications.
Register new patients and support billing/payment collection.
Greet and direct patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional, courteous manner.
Assist with general office tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and light office upkeep.
Uphold company policies, values, and standards of confidentiality.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required); medical office or healthcare experience preferred (but not required).
Proficiency with Google Docs, email, scheduling systems, and standard computer applications.
Strong organizational skills with proven attention to detail.
Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with diverse patient populations.
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and follow through on tasks.
Physical Demands
This position may require periods of sitting, standing, and light physical activity such as filing or handling office supplies. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally is preferred.
