    Director of Business Development US (remote)

    Job Description:

    This individual’s charter is to lead the US-based business development efforts - drive business strategy & goals, expand and oversee the business activities, provide a deep understanding of competitive landscape as well as seek new routes to market (RTM) & growth opportunities. Role function reports to VP Business Development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strengthen existing & identify new growth opportunities for the company
    • Lead and develop 3rd party & client engagements
    • Drive new and support existing projects within the company go to market (GTM) strategy
    • Introduce new tools, knowledge, and skills to the team
    • Set the strategic direction for the company ecosystem in the given geography
    • Seek new routes to market (RTM) to extend the company reach

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development roles
    • Go to market (GTM) expertise and knowledge about advanced technologies / new product integration (NPI)
    • Past experience working in the US, preferably with large high-tech companies
    • Very strong communication, relationship building, team building, and presentation skills are a must
    • Demonstrated leadership as a change agent when working with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal
    • Has a unique ability to hold executive-level relationships
    • Understands how to convey “financial modeling” requirements to evaluate initiative revenue and cost implications
    • Familiar with different systems and tools to ensure that reporting needs are in place to support field efforts. (SFDC, tableau, etc.)
    • University degree (BA/BSc)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Flexibility, decision making, organizational and project management skills
    • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, high-visibility role
    • Ability to meet timelines and prioritize business needs
    • Self-directed, professionally assertive and self-driven
    • Must be able to solve complex problems and manage multiple stakeholders

    Advantages:

    • Proven experience within the embedded world supply chain (vendor; integrator; buyer) - major advantage
    • Experience working within the electronics manufacturing value chain (OEM, ODM, EMS, etc.)
    • Experience working with IT channel players (e.g., large SI’s, VARs, VAD’s, DMR’s)
    • Experience working in a new product integration (NPI) operations team, bringing new technology to market in the US
    • MBA graduate
    • Fluency in multiple languages
    • Rolodex of potential partners in the embedded space
    • Work with startups HQed overseas
