    Position Summary

    The Partner Business Development Manager owns the end-to-end relationship with strategic GTM partners and is responsible for creating breakthrough business opportunities. This role is expected to develop strong relationships with partners and drive sell-with and sell-through strategies to achieve revenue growth through partnerships. Partners likely to include technology partners, development partners, and channel partners. The Partner Business Development Manager has a deep understanding of the organization, structure, and business model of partners and develops relationships with decision-makers, and technical/sales operatives to ensure efficient communication and productivity.

    Responsibilities

    • Sell-through: recruit and develop new partners, onboard, and enable them to embed the SDK, so they can sell the complete solution to their end customers.
    • Sell-with: cooperates closely with the Sales Teams in co-selling activities, introduce partner opportunities to the sales team and support sell-with activities where appropriate.
    • Negotiate deal terms and drive partner contract execution for all partner types
    • Create, maintain, and build upon excellent partner relationships, while driving partners to achieve set goals and business objectives.
    • Manage and drive on-going performance, adoption, and deliverables, ensuring goals and sales through targets are met or exceeded.
    • Plan and execute, in collaboration with Partner Marketing Manager, GTM activities, and events that will generate and influence the business in the region.
    • Develop and provide detailed reporting and metrics to leadership.

    Required Skills, Experience and Competencies

    • 5 to 8 years of partner sales, partner development, or channel sales experience
    • Proactive, strategic, strong commercial acumen and creative partner development and engagement skills;
    • Results-driven, vibrant and energized; a “can- do” attitude is a must;
    • Proven ability to drive revenue by leveraging key strategic partnerships.
    • Analytical skills; past success setting and achieving goals, forecasting accuracy, consistently meeting objectives;
    • Compelling executive presence in front of customers, partners, and peers
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills; ability to dynamically manage strong internal and external relationships, no matter where you are in the world
    • Works Effectively with Senior Leaders: Can build relationships, sell and deal comfortably with executives. Can craft approaches that are perceived as positive and successful. Knows how to deliver to build credibility. Able to effectively negotiate contracts.
