Responsibilities: The Client Relations/Development Specialist sits at the intersection of client experience and firm growth. The person who turns an inquiry into a relationship and a relationship into a retained client. Client Consultations & Engagement Meet with prospective new clients (PNCs) to understand their situation, answer their questions, and help them feel informed and supported from the very first conversation Clearly articulate with confidence, compassion, and zero pressure how Moore Family Law Group can help clients achieve their goals Provide a calm, professional presence during one of the most stressful moments in a person's life Guide prospective clients through the engagement process and prepare them to take the next step with the firmIn accordance with California State Bar ethical rules, this role does not provide legal advice or execute legal services agreements. Client Conversion & Relationship Management Communicate the value of working with Moore Family Law Group in a way that is honest, compelling, and client-centered, never pushy Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up with prospective clients who aren't yet ready to move forward; relationships take time, and we play the long game Track and report key metrics including inquiries, consultations, and retained clients to support data-driven growth decisions Ensure every prospective client receives timely responses and a level of service that reflects who we are as a firm Marketing & Community Engagement Represent Moore Family Law Group at networking events, community activities, and professional gatherings with polish and purpose Cultivate relationships with referral partners, professionals, and community members who align with the clients we serve Support marketing initiatives designed to increase the firm's visibility and expand its client base Actively contribute to the firm's growth strategy by strengthening our presence in the communities we serve Qualifications: Who You Are You don't need to have worked in a law firm to thrive in this role. What You Bring Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: read a room, adjust your approach, and make people feel heard within minutes of meeting them High emotional intelligence and genuine compassion for people navigating difficult, high-stakes personal decisions The ability to guide prospective clients toward a decision with confidence and honesty (never pressure, never a script) A polished, professional presence that reflects the caliber of clients we serve and the firm we've built Strong relationship-building instincts and the follow-through to back them up (you don't let things fall through the cracks) A self-starter mindset with clear personal goals and the discipline to hit them Solid organizational skills and a commitment to timely, consistent follow-up Background & ExperienceThere's no single path to this role. Our strongest candidates often come from backgrounds where consultative sales and high-touch client relationships are the norm. Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly plus incentives
