Do you thrive on working alone and as a part of a remote team that is creating an impact in a high-demand field? Zhang-Louie PLLC is a business and investment immigration law firm in the U.S. with a tech stack to operate efficiently with remote staff. We’re hiring a growth-minded Client Relations Manager to help potential clients discover solutions to help them lead to better lives. You’ll be responsible for matching the potential clients' problems with the solutions that we can provide and helping them realize that we are the best law firm to help them achieve their goals of living in the U.S. We encourage applicants who are passionate about helping business-minded foreign nationals with aspirations to live and work in the U.S. If you cannot discuss big price points and complex problems with maturity and sensitivity, please do not apply. If you don’t have the stomach to do follow-ups with prospects, please do not continue. We are looking for someone who can both sell legal services and cultivate new relationships. We provide training in what you need to know to best help clients, and for the right person, this will be a highly rewarding position personally, professionally, and financially. We need a bright, creative, empathetic, and compassionate person who can convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance client experience. You will work closely with other members of the team to develop and maintain relationships with clients. You will help us realize our vision of helping more people! Responsibilities: This position will • Conduct initial client consultations to sell legal services • Make outbound calls to old leads to determine their needs • Explain contract terms to clients and help them sign the contract and make the payment • Oversee the smooth transition of new cases to the legal team • Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us • Compassionately answer questions from past clients to determine whether they have a new need that we can serve or whether we may need to refer them to someone else • Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources If you apply and follow all the instructions, we will ask you to complete a brief written interview before having any interviews. We do this to ensure that you can read, write, and think critically. If you do not wish to complete the written interview, please do not apply. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include bonus opportunities, paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance coverage, and the option to participate in our retirement savings plan with employer match, once eligible. If you are looking for a high-energy and positive team environment with lots of growth potential, then look no further. Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will: • Speak English fluently • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and do not get discouraged when a potential client says "no" • Understand how to build a relationship with a person • Show the ability to interact with different types of personalities • Show empathy to potential clients and put them at ease • Know how to close a sale by creating urgency and promoting value • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing • Think on their feet • Be willing and able to quickly learn about new topics (like a niche U.S. immigration law) • Treat a call or meeting at 4:30 on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning • Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures (like tracking time) • Be a team player who consistently acts with respect and integrity • Be tech savvy (we use Windows computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and rely heavily on project management software - Airtable; remote employees will be provided with a firm-purchased computer after 30 days of onboarding) Real life experience and a few “battle scars” providing empathy and understanding are assets. Experience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making an important change in your life, so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plus. The salesperson doesn’t give legal advice, so legal experience is not required. Prior sales and customer service experience is required because we can teach you about the immigration process, but we can’t teach you how to care about people facing immigration hurdles, and which way to lean politically. Compensation: $9 - $30 hourly
