    The Alsandor Law Firm is a boutique family law practice in Houston, Texas, seeking a full-time Client Relations Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact between the firm and its clients. This is a high-touch, relationship-centered role for someone who communicates with warmth and professionalism, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes genuine pride in delivering excellent service. You will work closely with our attorneys and paralegals to ensure every client feels informed, supported, and valued throughout their matter. Responsibilities: • Monitor the firm's client portal daily and respond to all client inquiries within 24 hours, coordinating with the assigned paralegal or attorney to obtain accurate information before responding • Answer incoming client calls promptly and professionally; triage questions, gather relevant information, and follow up with attorney- or paralegal-approved responses • Process and route incoming firm email daily; flag urgent or time-sensitive matters immediately for attorney review • Conduct periodic outbound calls to active clients at defined intervals to assess service satisfaction and identify unmet needs; document and communicate feedback to the appropriate legal team member • Request retainer replenishments from clients in accordance with firm billing protocols; coordinate with the supervising attorney and bookkeeper as needed • Record all billable time accurately in the firm's practice management system (Clio) with case-specific, detailed time entries • Draft professional written communications on behalf of the firm; all substantive legal content is reviewed and approved by legal staff prior to transmission • Maintain accurate records of all client communications and interactions in Clio • Serve as an internal advocate for the client experience, proactively identifying and recommending service improvements Qualifications: • 1–2 years of experience in a client-facing role; legal, medical, or professional services environment preferred • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional, composed demeanor • Ability to handle sensitive and emotionally charged situations with empathy and discretion • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities without missing deadlines • Comfortable with email management, client portals, and practice management software (Clio experience a plus) • Strict adherence to client confidentiality and professional privacy standards • Familiarity with legal terminology a plus; family law experience strongly preferred • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to following through on every client interaction Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
