You do not need any prior photography experience to apply!

We are happy to train the right person from the ground up. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. If you’re coachable, detail-oriented, and motivated to improve, we’ll teach you everything you need to succeed.

This is not a behind-the-scenes job. You are the face of the company in the field, working directly with real estate agents and homeowners.

About the Role

This is an in-the-field position capturing real estate media across the Lafayette area. You’ll be trusted to work independently while delivering a consistently excellent client experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Traveling to scheduled properties to capture real estate photos and videos using company-provided gear
• Learning our proven systems, shot lists, and workflows from day one
• Interacting confidently and professionally with agents and homeowners
• Creating a smooth, stress-free experience for clients, even in fast-paced or imperfect situations
• Following clear checklists on every shoot to ensure consistency and quality
• Uploading raw photo and video files after each assignment
• Managing your schedule responsibly while adapting to day-to-day changes

Schedule

• Flexible schedule, approximately 30 to 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, with one daytime weekend availability required
• Most shoots take place between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Compensation

This role is paid on a piece-rate structure based on scheduled on-site time, plus paid training.

• Paid training at a fixed rate of $15 per hour
• Standard photoshoots start at $25 per unit
• Increases to $30 per unit after earning a drone license
• Video services and specialty add-ons paid based on project scope
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.30 per mile
• Drive time is not paid hourly but is partially reimbursed through mileage

** Photography experience is not required.**
If you’re willing to learn, follow a process, and take pride in your work, this role can be taught.

Required Qualifications

• Reliable transportation in good working condition
• Valid driver’s license
• High-speed internet at home for file uploads
• Smartphone no older than three years
• Willingness to book Part 107 drone license test within the first 2 weeks of hire (guidance provided!)

Bonus Skills

• Prior customer service or client-facing experience
• Background in hospitality, retail, or service-driven roles
• Experience working independently without constant supervision
