    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Client Services & Technical Delivery Manager to lead hands-on technical delivery, client services, and professional services engagements. This role is highly client-facing and execution-focused, combining technical leadership, project delivery, pre-sales support, and customer success.

    The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with excellent presentation skills, a strong hardware and software background, and the ability to engage in pricing discussions and project structuring. This role offers a clear growth path toward IT leadership and IT Director roles.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Services & Service Delivery

    • Serve as a primary client-facing technical leader for service delivery and professional services engagements.
    • Own the end-to-end delivery of customer engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
    • Build trusted relationships with customers through confident communication and technical credibility.
    • Manage service delivery issues, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Technical Leadership & Field Support

    • Provide hands-on technical leadership and field support across customer environments.
    • Lead solution deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
    • Work directly with enterprise hardware and software platforms, including:
    • HPE server and storage solutions
    • Cisco networking and security stack
    • Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory)
    • Ensure technical best practices, documentation, and standards are followed.

    Professional Services & Project Delivery

    • Structure and deliver professional services projects, from initial planning through execution and completion internally and externally.
    • Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and delivery approach.
    • Coordinate internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
    • Balance multiple concurrent projects and customer engagements.

    Pre-Sales, Pricing & Commercial Support

    • Support the sales team during pre-sales engagements, including technical discovery and solution design.
    • Deliver customer presentations, solution walkthroughs, and technical proposals with confidence.
    • Participate in pricing discussions, helping to structure services, projects, and technical solutions.
    • Assist with project costing, service scoping, and commercial alignment to support deal closure.
    • Work closely with partners and vendors to validate solutions and pricing.

    Public Sector & Partner Engagement

    • Support customers in public sector environments, including government, education, and regulated organizations.
    • Understand compliance, procurement, and governance considerations common in public sector engagements.
    • Confidently engage with partners and vendors to deliver compliant and effective solutions.

    Leadership & Growth

    • Demonstrate leadership potential with the ability to grow into senior technical management or IT Director roles.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to service delivery process improvements.
    • Act as a role model for execution excellence and customer focus.

     

    Required Experience & Skills

    Technical Expertise

    • Strong hands-on experience across enterprise hardware and software stacks, including:
    • HPE servers, storage, and infrastructure solutions
    • Cisco networking, switching, routing, and security
    • Microsoft ecosystem: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure
    • Ability to work hands-on in customer environments and lead technical delivery.

    Professional & Client-Facing Experience

    • 5–8 years of experience in technical services, professional services, service delivery, or IT consulting.
    • Proven experience in client-facing roles with high customer interaction.
    • Experience delivering projects and managed services end-to-end.
    • Public sector experience is highly desirable.

    Pre-Sales, Presentation & Commercial Skills

    • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including discovery, solution design, and presentations.
    • Comfortable participating in pricing conversations and project structuring.
    • Ability to articulate technical and commercial value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    $80,000 per year
