    IT solutions company located in the Western New York area (Buffalo) specializing in providing high-end information technology to clients across WNY and multiple states is currently hiring a Client Support Engineer. The candidate must meet the qualifications below. Must be professional, customer-focused, self-driven, and team-oriented—salary contingent on experience and competency.

    Only candidates local to Western New York will be considered.

    Level I - Client Support Engineer:

    The candidate will possess the following:

    Helpdesk, on-site support, and remote end-user support

    Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.

    Monitor system performance and implements performance tuning, and break /fix.

    Implement software and network security, manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.

    Install, configure, and maintain hardware, systems, and software for networks.

    Knowledge of Networking: Switches, Basic Routers, Servers, Cables, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS

    Requirements:

    High aptitude and keen on detail.

    Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

    Customer focused, performance driven, high aptitude for technology.

    Must work well in a team environment.

    Understanding of desktop and intermediate server administration.

    Manage workflow, daily timesheets and calendar.

    Proven conscientious reporting of all issues and resolution for future reference and trouble tickets.

    Strong analytical capabilities and professional office skills required.

    Grow into a valued team member who learns and adapts quickly to challenges.

    Education: Associates Degree in Computer Science preferred but not required.

    Information Technology or 1+ years experience in a Client Support Engineer Role is a must.

    Local-short-distance travel

    A reliable automobile is a must. Expenses reimbursed

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
