My client is an established and well-respected facilities services company in the Bay Area. The provide janitors commercial and industrial clients throughout the SF Bay Area to industrial and commercial clients. They are growing and need to add to their team in all parts of the Bay Area (South, North and into the East Bay). They need full-time and part-time - Janitors - Day porters - Night staff - Weekend staff Depending on the client and contract you will: - Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls - Sweep, sanitize and clean restrooms - Disinfect commonly-used items like desks, door handles, office tools, and phones - Maintain cleaning inventory and order supplies - Maintain building in a clean and orderly condition - Maintaining outdoor grounds - Remove debris from sidewalks - Empty trash and recycling bins - Respond to client requests What do you bring - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Transportation to and from work - Valid California Driver's License if job includes travel - Physically able to perform light duty labor and lift up to 60 pounds and push up to 100 pounds - Physically able to walk, stand, lift, reach, bend, kneel, climb, twist, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis - Professional and friendly - Flexible and willing to work attitude - Must have excellent organization and communication skills to manage duties along with day-to-day requests - Ability to work individually and as part of a team - Mobile phone and access to email or text - General knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in facility maintenance - Reading, writing and verbal skills sufficient to perform duties - Prior experience preferred What my client can offer you: - Career path for growth - Competitive salary - Health benefits - medical, dental, vision - Paid Holidays - Paid vacation and sick time
