    Job Description

    We are seeking 2 Contract Specialists for a 12-month contract (with the option to convert to a permanent employee in the future) in Westminster, CO. These roles will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite/in the office in Westminster, CO, and 2 days per week working remotely.

    In these roles, you will:

    • Provide contract negotiation and administration on a variety of programs encompassing all phases of the contract life cycle (pre-proposal through contract close out).
    • Collaborate with other employees in the department, cross-functionally and with program personnel, and for establishing effective relationships with key customers.
    • Assist the Senior Manager in reviewing contracts and related documents to assess risk to the company and recommend mitigation approaches and ensure compliance with various federal regulations and company policy.
    • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule in accordance with company policy.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA in a related field plus 10 or more years related experience.
    • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
    • Government and Commercial (domestic and international desirable) contracts experience.
    • A strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), with a particular emphasis on intellectual property, government property, formation of proposals, and negotiations.
    • Experienced with cost reimbursable, award fee and incentive fee contracts.
    • Experience with Firm Fixed Price contracts.
    • Strong communications skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiation skills with clear oral and written explanations.
    • Ability to work a variety of complex issues at one time.
    • Experience in developing and implementing negotiation strategies.
    • Ability to be a leader with strong conflict resolution skills in a changing environment.

    Additional Information

    These 12-month contract roles will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite/in the office in Westminster, CO, and 2 days per week working remotely. These roles will pay between $55-$76 per hour.
