  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position reports to the Director of IT.

    AS A NETWORK ENGINEER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • Assuring that users are provided with efficient and timely support on general office-based desktop/laptop, as well as general office networking, office software, and hardware (switches, Router and VPN etc.).
    • Providing professional and timely support for a wide range of IT equipment, software, and server room systems and network devices.
    • Proactively managing any planned changes and upgrades which includes informing those who would be impacted and ensuring functionality
    • Building and setting up computer networks by physically installing, connecting, and configuring equipment.
    • Installing and configuring network software, including security software and protections.
    • Supporting telecom equipment and other connected devices.
    • Scheduling the installation of firmware patches and updates to all network devices and software.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    THE IDEAL NETWORK ENGINEER WILL ALSO HAVE:

    • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent.
    • 3+ years of experience in IT delivery professional services environments.
    • Deep knowledge of IT and networking including experience managing enterprise technology.
    • Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines
