Job Description

We are seeking a Data Center Migration Project Manager for a long-term contract role in Hartford, CT.

In this role, you will research, strategize, and bring forth a deep understanding and evaluation of the needs and costs for on-prem, co-location, cloud based and hybrid solutions. This long-term project will cover an existing hybrid Data Center and other smaller sites whose needs can be more effectively solved through additional consolidation.

You will be instrumental with the following:

• Identification of alternatives and options for future computing needs
• Sunset and migration strategy
• Architecture and capacity planning
• Capital and operating expense planning

Qualifications

• Experience with Data Center Migration planning to include start to finish strategy development
• Project Management experience
• Experience with presenting updates to major stakeholders and executive leadership
• Data Center Capacity Analysis
• Data-center and co-location cost evaluation
• Public cloud cost analysis
• Architecture and capacity planning
• Capital and operating expense planning

Additional Information

This long term contract will work a hybrid schedule in Hartford, CT. The role can work mostley remote, with the ability to come into the office and/or data center if and wehen needed.
