Job Description

We are seeking an Information Security Liaison for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Gilbert, AZ.   In this role, you will work closely with the Information Security and Governance/Risk/Compliance departments.  You will be the Information Security advocate for Information Technology departments and additional business units.  In addition to this, you will provide advice regarding new and ongoing initiatives to validate that security and technology controls are implemented to support business and IT Security requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INFORMATION SECURITY LIAISON INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Partners with Business Units to identify, analyze and mitigate risk associated with cyber risks and Information Security
• Provides consultation for new and ongoing security initiatives.
• Information Security Risk Management
• Policy Compliance
• Data Protection
• Education and Awareness 
• Increased levels of security across designated Business Units
• Improved compliance with security standards and policies across Business Unit team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 3-5 years of directly related experience. Must have a solid understanding of SOX, PCI, FACTA and similar IT Compliance regulations. Must be proficient with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. 
• Strong understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy, PCI and/or data security
• Project Coordination and/or Management with Information Security or Risk Management experience is a big plus, but not required.

Additional Information

THIS CONTRACT-TO-HIRE ROLE WILL BE ONSITE IN GILBERT, AZ.  MONDAY-FRIDAY DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS.
