    175 Genesee Street Rochester, NY 14611 (P) (585) 436-0990 (F) (585) 436-0996 www.aenonmissionarybaptistchurch.org JOB DESCRIPTION Lead Audio/Video Technician Overview of Position Aenon Missionary Baptist Church is seeking an experienced, qualified, and dedicated Audio/Visual Technician to serve as Team Leader for our Sound Ministry. This is a Part-time opportunity. The candidate would be responsible for the quality of audio generated during all live events at the church. The candidate would be supported in this function by a team of volunteers. The candidate is responsible for training, scheduling, and supervision of the team of Sound Room volunteers to support various church events (ie., Worship services, funerals, concerts, Bible study, conferences, etc.). Responsibilities Validates that the system is set for optimal quality prior to the start of an event or service Ensures the sound is balanced and can be heard comfortably in all zones of the church. Facilitates the collaboration of the Sound room with the video production team to ensure the optimal audio quality of livestream events and associated video productions. Capable of training the volunteer staff in all areas of duties needed to support the sound room. o A/V Media duplication, Event Livestreaming production, Event video management, Event Video Presentation, and Sound board management Trained volunteers shall be capable of handling delegated responsibilities of sound quality assurance for events and activities. Collaborates with all stakeholders that are impacted by the audio video system to ensure the quality of sound generated. Develops a system or process for handling feedback from the congregation or volunteers, to aid in the resolution of any problems observed with system Qualifications At minimum an Associates' Degree in Audio Engineering, Preferred a Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years related experience Possess a strong knowledge of operating a variety of electronic, musical, video, and mixing equipment to achieve optimal sound quality of services to be recorded via DVD's, You Tube, etc. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to supported events. Must have excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills Provide technical training to volunteer staff to enable process efficiency while maintain audio video quality and integrity.
