    About Climate People:

    Climate People is a startup, high-velocity Climate Technology recruiting firm that exclusively works with customers that are helping solve climate change. We are mobilizing a technical workforce transition to work on climate.

    • Energy : How we produce, transmit, store and consume electricity and heat

    • Transportation : How we move people and goods (cars, charging, micro mobility, buses, trucks, heavy equipment, airplanes, shipping)

    • Food, Agriculture & Land use : How we sustainably feed the planet while protecting it as population growth continues

    • Buildings : How we can change energy sources for buildings, improving energy efficiency and refrigerants

    • Heavy Industry & Materials : How we can improve material production (Cement, steel, textiles, chemicals) and the efficiency of the industrial and manufacturing process, as well as reduce waste and the circular economy.

    • Climate adaptation and risk : How we adapt to a warming world and protect those communities that are most vulnerable and "at risk"

    About you:

    • You are aligned with the mission of Climate People and want to use your recruiting skills to mobilize the technical workforce to work on climate

    • You are a positive and solutions-oriented person by nature, learn from your mistakes and are open to feedback

    • You are ambitious and hardworking and can handle the rigor of working in a fast-paced startup.

    • You have a strong systems background and an ability to use various systems to create workflows and automation as needed

    Your experience:

    • Previous experience recruiting for full-time technical positions, such as, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Management, Product Design or User Experience.

    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

    • Attention to detail

    • Strong listening and writing skills

    • Customer-focused

    • Goal-oriented

    Compensation:

    Base salary + commission. Base salary range will be between $75,000-$100,000 depending on experience.

    This position is also eligible for a quarterly profit sharing bonus based on overall organization performance.
