Role Overview:
We are currently hiring for the position of Clinical Educator & Infection Prevention Coordinator. This role plays a crucial part in our mission to provide high-quality care while promoting infection prevention best practices across our facilities.
Responsibilities:
\- Lead and manage infection control programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
\- Coordinate in-service activities and educational programs with all departments and contractors.
\- Develop and implement orientation programs for nursing personnel, adhering to established policies.
\- Maintain accurate attendance records and reference materials for all educational initiatives.
Requirements:
\- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
\- Registered Nurse with the State of Hawaii Board of Nursing.
\- Two years of experience in clinical staff development within long-term care is preferred.
\- Ability to learn and apply quality improvement methods and materials.
