Job Title: Expert-Level Agile Scrum Master
About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Agile Scrum Master with over 8 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Scrum Process Oversight: You'll be responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and meetings, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. Team Efficiency and Motivation: Your role will involve increasing team efficiency, motivating team members, and advocating for necessary changes to ensure both quality and timely delivery. Definition of Done Compliance: Ensuring the observance of the Definition of Done (DoD) is crucial to maintain the standards of our deliverables. Agile Scrum Master Duties: As the Agile Scrum Master for various HHSC IT projects, you will be the expert-level facilitator and leader of the Agile/Scrum framework. Agile Principles Adherence: You'll ensure all Scrum teams stay true to Agile principles, guiding them through the process. Scrum Ceremonies Management: You'll make sure all Scrum ceremonies occur, are productive, and adhere to their assigned timeboxes, facilitating and coordinating events as needed. Impediment Removal: Utilizing your communication, technical, and organizational skills, you'll remove impediments, enhance collaboration, and ensure the team delivers value to the customer. Coaching and Leadership: You must have demonstrated ability to effectively coach a high-performing delivery team in an Agile environment, exhibiting servant leadership and motivational strengths.
Essential Skills:
A minimum of 8 years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodology practices. At least 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams with cross-team dependencies. 8 years of experience managing backlog using Jira. Preferred Qualifications: Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) or Professional Scrum Master certification.
