Faulkton Area Medical Center (FAMC) is accepting applications for a full-time Clinic Nurse (RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant) to join our patient-centered healthcare team. This position plays a key role in supporting providers and ensuring efficient, high-quality care in our clinic setting.

Pay & Benefits FAMC offers a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package. Starting wage is based on education and relevant experience.

Medical Assistant: $18.00–$23.00/hour

Licensed Practical Nurse: $22.00–$27.00/hour

Registered Nurse: $30.00–$35.00/hour

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday

Daytime hours only

36–40 hours per week

Onsite position

Required Qualifications

Current South Dakota RN or LPN license or proof of completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Graduated from an accredited nursing or medical assisting program

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic with frequent interruptions

Previous experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Key Responsibilities

Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures

Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic

Schedule appointments and complete referrals

Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered

Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical instruments

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinic staff while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
