    Job Description

At Clinical Architecture, the Interoperability Product Analyst is a multi-talented individual who works on anything that is required to develop our interoperability products, bring them to market, and enable customer success. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work with a variety of internal teams at all phases of the product lifecycle: you’ll be a knowledgeable and trusted resource for development, testing, technical writing, marketing, and client service team members. Effectively, you’ll be an extension of the Product Manager for a family of interoperability products that directly align with our mission: delivering innovative solutions that maximize the effectiveness of healthcare.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

As a member of a small, nimble Product Management team within a mature, successful company, you will be involved in a wide variety of activities across the product lifecycle, with emphasis on requirements, analysis, and testing for new products and product enhancements. Each day may bring an opportunity to learn a new skill or take on a new responsibility, with your main activities focusing in these areas:

    • Analyzing industry standards for interoperability and decomposing those into product requirements.
    • Analyzing emerging industry standards, market trends, and user requests to support planning and prioritization of the product roadmap.
    • Writing user stories, capturing diagrams, writing documents, or constructing presentations to support all phases of the product lifecycle.
    • Collaborating with internal teams to analyze and resolve user questions and issues and ensure those are addressed and documented in a timely fashion.
    • Configuring demo environments and preparing data for demos, prototypes, or proof-of-concept implementations.
    • Reviewing and testing product features and conducting UAT with key users.

    SKILLS NEEDED:

A successful Product Analyst will have a variety of technical and soft skills that make them a well-rounded team member:

    • Required: Expert proficiency with at least two healthcare messaging formats (e.g., FHIR, C-CDA, HL7, X12, OMOP, etc.).
    • Required: Intermediate or expert proficiency with at least two industry standard healthcare terminologies (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNORM, ICD-10, etc.).
    • Required: Ability to understand complex healthcare data, healthcare messaging workflow, message transformations, and other principles of healthcare interoperability.
    • Required: Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with technical, clinical, and other team members, both verbally and in written documents, diagrams, and presentations.
    • Strong asset: Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to help with any aspect of the team’s work as needed.
    • Strong asset: Genuine belief in the value of sharing knowledge and growing the skills of the team and individual team members.
