    Out of the Box Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, energetic, and people-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our growing team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in exercise science, kinesiology, strength & conditioning, athletic performance, or personal training who is passionate about helping people move, feel, and perform better. Candidates with personal training experience and certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.

    We are a one-on-one physical therapy practice specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Our team works with everyone from active adults and weekend warriors to high school, collegiate, and competitive athletes. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient experiences and creating an environment where both patients and staff can grow.

    What You'll Do

    Work alongside our Doctors of Physical Therapy to help deliver an exceptional rehabilitation experience

    Guide patients through individualized exercise programs under the direction of a physical therapist

    Demonstrate and reinforce proper exercise technique and movement quality

    Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

    Build meaningful relationships with patients and contribute to an outstanding patient experience

    Assist with clinic flow, treatment area setup, and daily operations

    Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment

    Support scheduling, patient communication, and administrative tasks as needed

    Assist with community outreach initiatives and clinic events

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, Health Sciences, or a related field

    Personal training experience strongly preferred

    Current personal training certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent) strongly preferred

    Experience in strength & conditioning, sports performance, coaching, or group fitness instruction

    Comfortable demonstrating, coaching, and progressing exercises for individuals of varying fitness levels

    Experience working with athletes is a plus

    CPR/AED certification preferred

The knowledge and experience gained in this role will provide an exceptional foundation for anyone interested in physical therapy, strength & conditioning, athletic training, sports performance, medicine, or other healthcare professions.
