    Job Title: BCBA Clinical Consultant (Part-Time)

    Reports To: Clinical Director / Program Manager

    Job Summary:

    The BCBA Clinical Consultant is responsible for providing oversight, supervision, and clinical support in the delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This role includes assessment, program development, and supervision of behavior technicians or RBTs, ensuring that services are effective, ethical, and aligned with best practices. This is a part-time, flexible role ideal for a BCBA seeking limited hours with meaningful client impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS).

    Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment goals.

    Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians or RBTs as required by BACB standards.

    Monitor client progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust interventions.

    Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to promote generalization and consistency across environments.

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and school personnel, as applicable.

    Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with funding and ethical standards.

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BACB ethical guidelines, state regulations, and evidence-based practices.

    Qualifications:

    Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.

    Active BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

    Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a practicing BCBA preferred.

    Strong clinical, analytical, and supervisory skills.

    Excellent verbal and written communication.

    Ability to work independently and manage a flexible part-time schedule.

    Must meet any state-specific licensure requirements (if applicable).

    Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (for community-based services).

    Work Hours and Compensation:

    Part-time position; flexible hours based on caseload and consultant availability.

    Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

    Mileage reimbursement or travel time compensation may be available, if applicable.
