Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator (RN) Recovery Room Per Diem - LOH. In this role, the successful candidate provides clinical leadership and coordination for perioperative patient care in the OR consistent with the philosophy and goals of the institution, Department of Nursing, and Perioperative Services. Prioritizes and coordinates related patient care activities; ensures competencies of OR staff; provides coordination of equipment, supplies and resources for efficient planning, safe delivery of care and highly functional Operating Rooms. Serves as a positive role model as a nursing leader. Demonstrates ability to develop, guide, motivate, nurture and coach others. Actively participates in departmental meetings, committees and quality initiatives. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills, customer service orientation and creative problem solving. Demonstrates nursing leadership by competently performing as group service leader, and clinical expert. Actively participates in related professional organizations that provide networking and benchmarking opportunities. Exhibits physical stamina, manual dexterity, visual and aural acuity to perform responsibilities. Is clinically competent to provide care to patient population for which care is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Current Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Previous charge nurse experience required; previous leadership position preferred.
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS, ACLS, BLS and PALS Cert, Certification in specialty required.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72.00 - $72.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
