About the Role:

Join HARLEM FAMILY SERVICES INC as a Part-Time Clinical Counselor in the vibrant heart of NYC, NY. You'll play a critical role in providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals and families in need.

Job Duties:

Provide individual and group counseling to clients facing various mental health challenges.

Ability to work with children and families a plus.

Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.

Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.

Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

Current licensure as a mental health counselor in New York.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.

Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

Spanish/French speaking a plus.
