    OVERVIEW:

    CDS is seeking a Field based Representative with Clinical & Laboratory experience (Hematology preferred) to join our team.  THIS POSITION WILL BE STATIONED IN THE CHARLOTTE, NC AREA and part of the initial contact team responsible for Installation and training activities at our customer locations.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Installation and setup of our analyzers in the customer laboratory.
    • Train the customer on our equipment.
    • Repair/maintenance of our equipment.
    • Extensive Air Travel (75%) following corporate guidelines.
    • Troubleshoot as needed using approved methods and procedures.
    • Assist Customers and be able to escalate issues to management accordingly.
    • Support customers using clinical lab experience.
    • Perform basic account maintenance activities and log all customer contacts within a central database system.
    • Support sales and Service Team as Needed.
    • Performs other related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically relation to the position.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • College degree or trade school certification, preferably in the field of study of Laboratory Science/Hematology and 2 years work experience in related job field.
    • An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered.
    • Must possess a valid Driver's License with clean Motor Vehicle Record, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
    • Fluent in English
    • Strong work ethic
    • Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Required
    • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
    • Knowledge/experience with medical instrumentation Required
    • CLIA / COLA knowledge / experience preferred
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
    • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
