Position Overview
As a Clinical Fellow at TheraCare, you will provide early intervention services to children from birth to 3 years old. You will work under the supervision of an ASHA-certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver screenings, on-going assessments, and treatment in home and community settings. This opportunity is designed to support your professional development and prepare you for ASHA certification and state licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen, assess, and provide treatment to children ages birth to 3 with communication delays.
• Deliver services in homes, daycares, or community settings in alignment with Early Intervention Program guidelines.
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams to support child development.
• Participate in feedback sessions/meeting with Clinical Fellow supervisor
• Attending professional development trainings, presentations, and webinars for indirect service hours requirement.
• Utilize paperless mobile systems for notes and billing submissions.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Eligible for Clinical Fellowship in the state of New Jersey.
• Commitment to Early Intervention and working with young children and families.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel within the New Jersey area.
Physical Requirements:
• Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
