Clinical Instructor – Vocational Nursing Program Location: Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Part-time, Full-time, per-diem

About Us We are a student-centered vocational nursing program committed to high-quality clinical education, strong professional standards, and supportive learning environments. Our clinical instructors play a vital role in shaping the next generation of practical nurses.

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Clinical Instructor to supervise and mentor LVN students during their clinical rotations. This role involves guiding students in applying classroom knowledge to real patient care, ensuring safe clinical practice, and fostering professional development.

Responsibilities

Supervise, teach, and evaluate VN students in clinical settings

Ensure student compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and scope of practice

Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support student learning

Communicate with program administration regarding student progress, concerns, and site updates

Complete required documentation, attendance verification, and student evaluations

Maintain positive relationships with clinical site staff and uphold the reputation of the school

Qualifications

Current California RN or LVN license in good standing

Associate's Degree & minimum of 6 years of recent clinical experience OR

Bachelor's Degree & minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience

Previous teaching or precepting experience preferred, but not required

Strong communication, professionalism, and leadership skills

Ability to model safe, ethical nursing practice
