Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Clinical Manager. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our ABA programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and effective services to our clients. This role involves direct supervision of BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), clinical program development, and fostering a positive and growth-oriented clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical supervision and mentorship to a team of BCBAs, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, best practices in ABA, and individualized treatment plans.
- Oversee and manage RBT performance, including training, competency assessments, and ongoing supervision to ensure the delivery of effective and consistent therapy.
- Conduct initial assessments, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and regularly review and update client programs based on data-driven decisions.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of ABA principles and strategies across all client programs.
- Collaborate with families to provide parent training and support, empowering them to generalize skills and promote progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Monitor client progress, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of clinical staff.
- Maintain open communication and and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and procedures.
- Handle escalated client or staff concerns with professionalism and effective problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina License as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) is required.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Licensed Behavior Analyst/BCBA in a clinical setting, preferably with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
- 1-3 years or more of demonstrated management or leadership experience overseeing and mentoring BCBAs and RBTs is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding and application of ethical guidelines and best practices in ABA.
- Excellent clinical judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis software/systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with research in the field of ABA.
