Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate clinical operations and other unit activities under the direction of the Program Director.
- Establish and prioritize goals based on patient needs, staff development, and organizational strategy.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care across all life stages, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Act as a resource and role model for nursing staff, promoting best practices in clinical care.
- Leverage advanced technologies and care models to innovate patient treatment and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of current clinical experience in a relevant specialty area or healthcare management.
- 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role required.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current New Mexico or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- CPR certification required.
