Position Summary
Boost Home Healthcare is seeking a motivated Clinical Manager (RN) to help build and lead our clinical operations in Texas. Inspired by nurses, Boost Home Healthcare makes it easier for patients to focus on recovery and wellness by personalizing and coordinating care. As a member of our team, you’ll play a key role in providing quality home healthcare that allow patients to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes.
The Clinical Manager will oversee clinical services for homebound patients in accordance with attending physician orders and established plans of care. All skilled nursing and therapeutic services operate under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Manager.
This is a unique opportunity to join a startup organization, shape clinical and administrative infrastructure, and grow into a long-term leadership role as the company expands. Part time for the first couple of months and convert to full time after (depending on licensing process).
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an RN
Minimum of two (2) years of home health experience
At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a home health agency environment
Current CPR certification (required while employed in a clinical role)
Experience supervising clinicians and managing interdisciplinary teams
Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
In-depth understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation and payment mechanisms for home health.
Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to begin as a consultant and transition to full-time as company grows
Short-Term Accountabilities
Assist in developing and implementing clinical and administrative policies and procedures
Support the process of obtaining Texas state licensure and Medicare certification, ensuring full regulatory compliance
Help establish documentation standards and compliance systems aligned with Medicare, CHAP, and Joint Commission requirements
Serve as backup for the Company’s administrator
Long-Term Accountabilities (Ongoing Operations)
Provide direct clinical supervision of assigned staff
Participate in hiring, evaluating, and terminating agency personnel as required
Ensure clinical records remain compliant with all state and federal regulations
Determine patient eligibility for home health services and third-party payer benefits
Conduct in-home supervisory visits with assigned team members
Monitor staff assignments, caseloads, and productivity to promote efficient use of resources
Maintain high standards of patient care, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
Perform other related duties as necessary to support agency operations
