    About the Role:

    We are seeking to add a clinical psychologist to our growing clinical testing program with competency in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, experience working with a pediatric, adolescent and adult population, and a special interest in Autism and other assessments. The ideal candidate will help set up a program to conduct diagnostic evaluations, evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families as part of a clinically excellent program.     Responsibilities:

    Complete psychological assessments

    Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provides therapeutic interventions as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management.

    Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations

    Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures

    Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation

    Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results

    Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

    Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals

    Requirements:

    Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the District of Columbia

    Have clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship

    Experience with completing psychological evaluations

    Familiarity with working with and/or within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504

    Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

    This position will be under the general direction of the Clinical Director.

    Credentialing under our group contract within 30 to 45 days
