Job Summary
Little Scholars Services is seeking a professional, compassionate, and dedicated California-Licensed Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be currently located in California and actively licensed to practice as a Psychologist in the State of California.
In this role, you will provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic services to support the emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological needs of children and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and is committed to providing high-quality, individualized, and evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychological concerns
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychological services
Monitor client progress and make recommendations for ongoing care
Collaborate with children, parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals as appropriate
Provide parent and caregiver guidance and support related to behavioral and emotional needs
Refer clients to other qualified providers or community resources when appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other required documentation
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with the Little Scholars Services team
Maintain professional, ethical, and legal standards in all services provided
Qualifications
Must currently reside in the State of California
Must hold an active, California license as a Psychologist
Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution
Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and individualized care
Strong understanding of professional ethics, confidentiality, and applicable California regulations
Important: Applicants who are not currently located in California or who do not hold an active California Psychologist license will not be considered for this position.
