    Job Description:

    A Clinical Quality Program Specialist Intern will be responsible for assisting with Quality improvement QI workplans, supports clinical quality program with maintaining effective documentations, additional responsibilities duties but not limited to, attending meetings, supporting management, collaborating with internal and external partners.

    Our Medicaid business is a leader in serving low-income families and people with disabilities through state-sponsored health care programs.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Building and maintaining project plan and schedule for projects that support the quality strategy, contributes to ensuring project deliverables are met, assist in documentation and project status tracing.

    • Ensuring integration of quality into the overall business process.

    • Supporting projects and assisting the quality improvement activities and programs for and/or on behalf of the Health Plan

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer internship program

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field at an accredited college/university

    • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

    Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

    • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

    • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
