Additionally, Hospice House in Bend, Oregon, is a specialty hospital for inpatient hospice care, creating an oasis of tranquility and comfort for patients and their families.

    Compensation: $20.00-$32.00 per hour (DOE).

    Location: Bend, Oregon.

    Schedule: Full-time status (40hrs/week) Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM.

    What You Get to Do: The Clinical Staff Scheduler supports Clinical Supervisors by creating and maintaining monthly schedules, managing PTO and coverage, and coordinating admission availability for Home Health and Hospice. This role also works closely with the Referral Services Team to assign new admissions and provides backup support to the Clinical Administrative Associate team as needed.

    Develop and maintain monthly work and on-call schedule for nursing clinical staff.

    Coordinates with the Clinical Supervisors to ensure adequate and updated staffing plans to meet department needs.

    Follows vacation/scheduling policies and procedures.

    Collaborating with the clinical supervisors, making patient assignments based on territories, caseloads, and staff expertise.

    Schedules coverage for sick calls, medical leave, and vacations.

    Troubleshoot urgent schedule changes/needs with the Clinical Supervisor team.

    Collaborates with the Referral department on incoming admissions.

    Schedules admissions after the Referral department processes them.

    Collaborates with Clinical Supervisors to assign various shifts.

    Provides the Reception Team with updated daily schedules for clinical staff.

    Provides updates to the after-hours answering service (within normal business hours).

    Communicates with clinical staff on patient assignments,

    Updates and manages the clinical staff assigned to the facilities and territories list.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Two to three years of experience in health care scheduling or a related field is preferred.

    Medical terminology skills preferred.

    Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

    Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.

    For those working in the field, current automobile insurance, a valid Oregon driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
