    Position Title: Clinical Supervisor

    Department: Clinical Services Reports To: Clinical Director FLSA Status: Exempt Job Level: 5

    Job Summary

    Carex Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Clinical Supervisor for our Daytron, OH location to provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health services while supervising bachelor-level clinicians and peer support providers in Dayton, and Columbus, OH. This independently licensed clinician will conduct diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, maintain clinical documentation per CMS standards, and provide individual therapy while supporting staff development and clinical excellence.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Conduct diagnostic assessments using DSM-5-TR criteria

    Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans

    Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based practices

    Complete daily progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries

    Deliver services in person and via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms

    Maintain compliance with CMS, Medicaid, and commercial payer standards

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master’s degree in social work or counseling

    • Independent Ohio licensure as LISW/LISW-S or LPCC/LPCC-S

    • Eligible to provide clinical supervision

    • 2–3 years post-licensure clinical experience

    • Experience with diagnostic assessments and treatment planning

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Prior supervision experience

    Outpatient or community mental health experience

    Medicaid and managed care documentation experience

    Telehealth service delivery experience

    Clinical Supervision

    • Provide clinical supervision to bachelor-level clinicians and peer support providers per Ohio licensure rules

    • Review and co-sign clinical documentation

    • Support staff with diagnostics, treatment planning, ethics, and crisis response

    • Monitor supervisee productivity, documentation quality, and outcomes

    Compliance & Quality Assurance

    • Ensure adherence to CMS medical necessity requirements

    • Participate in audits, utilization reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

    • Maintain HIPAA and regulatory compliance

    PRODUCTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

    • 50% billable productivity expectation in accordance with CMS standards

    Working Conditions
