Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outpatient Programs

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Job description:

• Provide initial assessments and interviews for individuals seeking Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for individuals with Opioid Use Disorders (OUD).

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a four (4) year degree in a human services field (such as psychology, behavioral or mental health, special education, social work) and three (3) years’ experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities and associated with such positions as Mental Health Counselor, Special Education Teacher, or Social Worker OR any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience and training equivalent to seven (7) years in fields providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Must be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Adult (QMHP-A) with the Virginia Board of Licensing.

Must have, or obtain, a current and valid driver’s license.
