    Job Description

    MARKETING SPECIALIST, CLIO SNACKS

    THE OPPORTUNITY: 

    Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will play in essential role in building the Clio community by interacting and developing relationships with our audience across multiple channels. This individual will work closely with Clio cross-functional teams including, digital marketing, brand marketing, and sales.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
      • Customer Service
        • Answer all incoming customer service emails, maintaining accurate customer records on trackers
        • Process and record all consumer & DTC complains and work with fulfillment & quality control teams to address issues
        • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's issue; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
        • Develop scripts for frequently asked questions and quality issues to use and ensure seamless communication
      • Community Engagement:
        • Own day to day community management & execution across all social media channels 
        • Respond to comments and DMs in a timely manner.
        • Develop strong relationships with our community members by proactively having a two-way dialogue, engaging, commenting, liking, and reposting their content.
        • Track customer input and recommendations.
    • DIGITAL MARKETING SUPPORT:
      • Social Content
        • Assist with ideating organic social content calendar, helping to coordinate content shoots, etc.
        • Assist with building and implementing social media plans across all social platforms that align with product launches and the overall marketing calendar.
        • Constantly monitor cultural trends and determine opportunities for Clio to have a distinct voice.
      • Influencer:
        • Help discover and identify potential influencers and brand advocates for both paid and organic programs that will maximize the success of marketing initiatives.
        • Support influencer research and outreach, influencer programming and affiliate partner tracking 
        • Establish and maintain relationships within relevant influencers, championing the brand and values to drive authentic support
        • Recommend and manage influencer program assets, including seeding samples and other integrations as applicable 
        • Daily monitoring of influencer coverage across all social media platforms
      • Ambassador Management:
        • Work with digital marketing manager to build, maintain, and grow the community of Clio brand lovers.
        • Help track ambassador performance, manage the ambassador platform, and create content for ambassador channels.
    • SHOPPER MARKETING SUPPORT: Support brand marketing manager with trial driving tactic execution, including coupon generation, retailer.com content support, etc.
    • MANAGE MARKETING & SALES OPERATIONS: 
      • Act as the point person for all shipping and logistics for mailer and sample requests for the sales, marketing, and PR team, helping to pack and fulfill.
      • Arm our Sales Team with the marketing materials and samples they need to foster and grow relationships with key retailers.
    • REPORTING:
      • Assist with monthly marketing reporting, including digital (ambassador, influencer, and paid media) as well as shopper reporting on an as needed basis.
      • Maintain weekly recaps on consumer and DTC issues

     

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

    • BA/BS required
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with high level of attention to detail
    • Strong communicator who enjoys building rapport with customers and resolving complaints
    • Strong knowledge of social media platforms
    • Enjoys building and engaging with a digital community
    • Internally motivated self-starter and able to manage multiple priorities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong creative, strategic, and analytical skills
    • Team player
    • Experience or understanding of how to work and collaborate with a remote, distributed team
