    Job Description

    The SALES ASSISTANT is responsible for providing Clipper sellers with administrative support, both pre-sale and post-sale, to create more time for sellers to concentrate on revenue generating activities.  Work closely with sellers and internal departments to provide a stellar customer experience. Plenty of room for advancement within our Sales Support team.

    KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Compile prospect lists 
    • Resource business leads via Google, Admall, Social Media, Competitors, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Send leads to third-party company for data-enrichment/data entry in Salesforce (CRM)
    • Strategize with seller to determine next steps for lead follow-up
    • Appointment Preparation 
    • Prepare client presentations
    • Create zip code matching/mapping
    • Request Spec ads
    • Request digital and physical media kits
    • Create schedules for client organization/deadline adherence
    • Email Campaigns 
    • Schedule regular email marketing campaigns
    • Review campaign analytics with seller to determine follow-up strategy
    • Post-Sale Administrative Support 
    • Assist in collecting and submitting ad copy 
    • Assist in getting client approval and changes on ads
    • Monitor payments; communicate with customers as needed
    • Monitor unresolved issues
    • Data entry in Salesforce (CRM) 
    • Assist in executing Insertion Orders/Addendums
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • MUST HAVE A RELIABLE CELL PHONE, WIFI ACCESS AND EITHER A LAPTOP OR DESKTOP COMPUTER (COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE THESE FOR THIS POSITION)
    • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED WITH SECONDARY EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE
    • PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT OFFICE (OUTLOOK, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD, TEAMS)
    • ABILITY TO INTERACT WITH SELLERS AND SALES LEADERS, INTERNAL DEPARTMENTS AND CUSTOMERS IN A POSITIVE AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER
    • Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency to help ensure Sellers and Sales Leaders meet deadlines and sales goals
    • SALESFORCE AND DESOTO EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (imPower experience a plus)
    • Comfortable with using technology & navigating social media
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
